Hello Manic Followers, when I read a book I love I just have to share it! Also, make sure you read to the end for a sneak peek at the Divorced White Female website. It’s live now while my street team checks it for errors. On Fri I’ll officially launch it to the public. As a Manic Follower, you get to see it first!
Now, on to the book!
Today I want to tell you about Kiss of Vengeance (The Fairchild Chronicles Book 1) by EA Copen. She’s a fellow Nano participant and an amazing writer. You can choose any book of hers and you won’t be disappointed.
Kiss of Vengeance is a great start.
Kiss of Vengeance (The Fairchild Chronicles Book 1) by EA Copen is the first Novella in her Fairchild Chronicles. It’s set in the same paranormal world as Copen’s Judah Black novels, which are also worth your time to read. The story takes place in Boston on the other side of the law from where Judah Black operates. Dallon O’Connor is a mobster who wants to find out who killed his wife and daughter and take vengeance on them. What he finds in his quest is so much deeper than even he suspected it could be. It takes him on the journey of a lifetime that will forever change his destiny and the destiny of those around him. The plot twists and the intricately woven details in this story kept me flipping pages well past when I should have put it down for a rest. All of Copen’s books have a tendency to keep me up past my bedtime, I’m glad this one didn’t run me into the wee hours of the morning. Her grasp of Boston and it’s culture was amazing without being cliche or overdone.
If you haven’t read one of her novels this is a great one to start with. And you’ll be back for more. I promise! EA Copen can be found at her website, on Twitter and on her Amazon author page where you’ll have an opportunity to check out all her amazing books! She has a new one coming out soon that I’ve had the privilege of reading early. I can’t offer any spoilers but I can suggest you get caught up on the other Judah Black novels so you can gobble it up right away.
P.S. Don’t forget to leave a review on Amazon, or Goodreads, or both! It doesn’t have to be long but reviews make an Indie authors day and it helps their career along too! Love an Indie, Leave a review!
As promised you can click on over to Divorced White Female and peruse the site before the general public. Feel free to leave a comment or drop me an email if you have questions or notice an error that I need to fix, as I said it’s up for review so we can catch them now.
